Cruise 6

Here is a reflection of Daddy in Uncle Thomas' sunglasses.
One night Mommy, Daddy, the uncles & aunts went to play outside because it was so windy. Here's Uncle Joel, Daddy, Uncle Thomas, Uncle Daniel, & Uncle Matt.
Here is Aunt Rachel, Mommy, Aunt McLeod, & (other) Aunt Rachel. (It is very confusing to have 2 Aunt Rachels & 2 Uncle Daniels. It's a good thing I'm smart and can figure this all out.)
Then they went to a talent show. Uncle Jason is in front with the striped shirt. I think everyone else has already been identified on the blog.

Cruise 5

Here I am with my Aunt Rachel & Aunt McLeod. We are all wearing our brand new Mexican dresses.
Uncle Thomas is making fun of me in this picture.
Mommy & (other) Aunt Rachel got to take a Mexican cooking class where they learned to make a three course meal.

Here they are just sitting down to the appetizer.

Cruise 4

I did NOT like going in the water. But, of course, Mommy & Daddy both had to give it a try.
Mommy gave it a try first. I'm just sitting on the sand trying to think stoic thoughts and be tough about the whole situation.
As you can see, Mommy couldn't get me out fast enough.
Daddy had to try it again the next day. Here I am in my cute little bonnet looking a little apprehensively at the water.
I don't think words are even needed here...

Cruise 3

Playing in the sand was lots of fun, too. Here I am with Uncle Thomas, Uncle Joel, & Aunt Christina in Cozumel.

Just laughing it up on the beach towel.
Chewing on my Santa rubber ducky and checking out the waves. (Mommy wants everyone to notice my mohawk.)
It was fun trying to pick up the sand. I wanted to eat it, but Daddy wouldn't let me.

Here we are at Playa Carmen.

Cruise 2

We got to do lots of fun stuff...
Like play chess. Check mate!

And here's Daddy, Uncle Thomas, Uncle Joel & Uncle Daniel playing golf.It was cold, but Daddy kept me bundled up.

Thanksgiving Cruise

For Thanksgiving week, I got to go on my very first cruise!! We went with all of Daddy's family to Mexico. Here we all are. Here I am with Grandpa & Grandma!
Mommy and Daddy are so silly in their sombreros...
Everyone knows they are to chew on!

Colonial Williamsburg, Part IV

Aunt Rebecca bought Kate this hat on our trip. She wore it all day Saturday and received many "oohs" and "aahs."
Here Kate is with Aunt Rebecca and a huge Scottish teddy bear. If I knew it wouldn't upset Christine, I'd have titled this picture "Great Scot." (Christine hates bad puns.)

Here we all are in a field. I am aware that Kate's face is covered by a plant, but this is the best picture of the rest of us, and I figured Kate gets plenty of face time on the blog.

Of course it was lots of fun with the five of us. But, we did miss Christine & Phil. So, here we are at Bassett Hall in honor of them. (Note: the black & white picture in the very bottom left corner - next to Rebecca - is of our Queen Beatrix.)

Colonial Williamsburg, Part III

I don't think these pictures need any explanation...

Colonial Williamsburg, Part II

When Micah discovered that his jacket was missing, it was time to turn to our digital cameras for some 21st century detective work.

Picture 1: Jacket clearly in view. (Gray jacket hanging off the handle of the stroller.)

Picture 2: Jacket is gone!

After retracing steps, the jacket was found on a bench.

Colonial Williamsburg, Part I

We met Neil & Rebecca half-way this past weekend in Colonial Williamsburg. It was lots of fun. Here are some pics:
The latest installment of a popular series: Bad Parenting 402:

And a new class, now offered - Bad Citizenship 101:

Mountain Wedding - Part II

Here's Kate with cousing Emma.
Kyle & Alyson - the newlyweds.

**This Picture Has Been Removed.**

Kate & Grandma - at the reception.

My cousins - Chris, Heather, & Rachael - at the reception.
Oh! Isn't this picture so cute! Kate mid-change from her street wear to her wedding wear. I just love that hat she is wearing!!

Mountain Wedding (To Quote Rebecca)

In October, my cousin Alyson got married. The morning of the wedding we went to Golden Corral for breakfast. Here is a picture of Dad & Kate (top). Micah & me (bottom). (I would guess it's pretty obvious which picture is which, but since there was such confusion with the last picture...)

Playing Around the House

It's bad enough that Daddy has to do these silly pictures. Now Mommy is starting to tease me - just for a good shot. Well, I'll show her. Look at me stretch these long arms. AHA! Victory is mine! And, it tastes so sweet. :)
