Of course a highlight of our visit to Texas was meeting our new baby cousin Naomi for the first time. Opa thought up many fun things for us to do. Here we are making zoos with stickers and very big paper. When John took a nap, we were allowed to play with a toy Mommy played with when she was a little girl. John's New Years shirt. Mommy's side of the family...minus Uncle Neil & Aunt Rebecca who were up in Delaware.
Muchas gracias to our friends Trey, Isaac, & Allie who let us borrow their dvd player for the car. Here are the 7 cousins on Daddy's side of the family. The big cousins (all 3 girls) got to go on a special shopping trip with Nana. We all got a matching outfit! 6 of the 7 cousins with Nana. (Simon was a little under the weather.) Decorating our Christmas cookies.
Sophie turned 3! She wanted yellow cupcakes with yellow frosting & sprinkles. Looks like the frosting & sprinkles on this cupcake have already disappeared. We also got to take a trip to visit Aunt Laurie! It was filled with all types of fun. Here the girls make a birdfeeder with a pinecone, peanut butter, & bird seed.
So, a few months have passed without any updates. Here's what's been going on: For Thanksgiving, Kate & Sophie proudly put on their aprons to help make a pumpkin pie. Kate, who takes this all very seriously, cracks an egg. Sophie is more interested in goofing off for the camera.
