Bermuda, Bahama, come on pretty mama

Some good friends of ours recently moved to Bahama, North Carolina. We decided to take a day trip to go visit them. Here Kate & Owen share a snack - al fresco because that's how they roll.
It's a bird; it's a plane. It's Kate the butterfly. There are some scary bugs around here. Kate keeps her distance, because ants terrify her.Riding the train - Jenn, Owen, & Elliott.Sophie & Kate. I think Sophie is "choo-choo"-ing.

Kate's Birthday Party

How many kids can fit on the swing at once? Well, at one time, there was one more - so 6!Here is Isaac. He's the one who missed the swing picture.Planting flowers.Sophie & her marigold wait patiently.

Grandma's Visit

Grandma came to visit for Kate's 4th birthday. Here is the birthday girl opening her present from Uncle Neil & Aunt Rebecca. When Grandma comes, we get to do crazy things like eat frozen yogurt for lunch. Mommy says it is very good for you. Daddy says Mommy is only kidding herself. Our latest garage sale purchase: a swingset!!I didn't get birthday presents. I didn't get frozen yogurt. I can't play on the swingset. Good thing I'm cute, or I'd never even make the blog.

Easter Weekend

Happy Easter from the Bomgaars family! On the way to our church Easter egg hunt, Daddy had to take an artistic shot or two. I found one!! Kate spent the first part of the day doing crafts, so that is why she looks like an Indian going off to war.Looking at the spoils.I think she has more than I do! Too much candy can make even the most calm child - wild. Here you see...the many faces of Kate.

John in his Easter outfit. No candy for him this year.
