Here's Lookin' at You, Kid...

After such an exciting day, I am always ready for a new adventure. What's next???

The Park in Charlotte

Here I am with Mommy. As you can see from the sign, we are in Charlotte, North Carolina "The Center of the Known World." I think it is so exciting that I live so close to such an important place.
A nice lady offerred to take a picture with both Mommy and Daddy in it. Don't we look cute??

Mommy took this picture of me and Daddy. If you look closely, you can see the message we are trying to send you.

Mommy wanted to take this picture by the signs for Edgar Rice Burroughs. She thought it was the sign for Edgar Allan Poe. She was a little dissappointed (not enough to go to the Poe signs, though). She hopes that someone who reads this blog is literary enough to know who Mr. Burroughs is. As you can see, I am ready for a little game of chess (or checkers). There was another nice lady in the park who took this picture for us.

Fun With Dad

Here you can see Daddy holding me up in the air. It is so much fun.
His arms got a little tired, so we took a break. As you can see, I've been happier.
Hooray!!! Again! Again!

Micah's work at BGEA

We have all the tape decks in a TOC area (Technical Operations Center) where all the post production rooms can control and use them. Below, David Jewell and I are checking something. Here is a wider shot of the TOC but there is even more. Dave Johnson, our engineer, has done an amazing job of planning and wiring all of this.
Below, Gary Slavens is editing in our Avid DS edit suite. We have 3 other suites similarly built but with Avid Adrenaline Media Composers.
Tim Gale is our audio engineer and mixes all our programing in this Protools suite. There is also an audio studio for recordings.
What a fun place.

Cow Appreciation Day

It was cow appreciation day at Chick-fil-a and they were giving away free combo meals to anybody dressed from head to toe as a cow. We took Kate and suited her up in this "cowtfit" from Oom Neil and Tante Rebecca.
Kate walked in to ohhs and ahhhs all around and we got this shot with another cow in the background. We were only the second cow of the day. It was Carolyn and my 5th anniversary and our first anniversary with Kate so you can see that our lives are changing already (Carolyn says this doesn't count as our anniversary meal.) Hey, I didn't set the cow appreciation date.

More from the Philadelphia Trip

Here we are walking through the Italian Market in Philadelphia.
Here I am with my Aunt Rebecca in one of the stores at the Italian Market. Dad and Uncle Neil bought a couple of different cheeses.Daddy and I needed a break while Mom and Aunt Rebecca were shopping at the IKEA.
Later we went to a vineyard. Everyone but me did a wine tasting. Aunt Rebecca said that is why I slept so well on the drive home. Here is Uncle Neil, Daddy, and Mommy tasting the cheeses that were bought at the Italian Market.

More Vacation

As you can see, I am having so much fun with my family in Delaware!

After a busy weekend, I needed a little nap in Uncle Neil & Aunt Rebecca's basement.

Trip to Philidelphia

Kate had a great time roaming the city and visiting the Mutter Museum ( a museum of strange anatomical and biological things).
Dad let's get out of this creepy place. Here we are.

More to come from the trip.

Military Work

Here's a few shots of me at military work. This is with the North Carolina Air National Guard.
