Wow, you know you are getting old when you make your 200th posting on the blog!
Thanks to Oom Paul & Tante Anita for the cool shirt! Man, do they know me or what??

Just Call Me Dorothy

Mommy & Daddy put up the Christmas tree on Friday. Sometimes I take a little time to admire their handiwork. Another thing I love to do is take ornaments off. Mommy loves that too.
My friend Macarthy gave me some new shoes at church today. I was so excited about them that I put them right on.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Yesterday was Thanksgiving. Here I am going for a pre-lunch walk down the driveway. (One must always be conscious of calorie intake/outtake.) You can see I am making Daddy aware that there are leaves to be raked up.
We went to have Thanksgiving lunch with the Lee's. My friend Macarthy came over with her family, too. Here we are playing with purses on the stairs.
One of my favorite things to do is sit on the rocking chair and say, "rocky, rocky." Macarthy was kind enough to sit with me for a little bit and play. (When you are a walker, such as myself, you have a small enough bottom to fit 2 on a chair!)

Fun with Friends & 1 More Fashion Pic

Last night, my friends Joy & Elisa came over. Here I am sitting on Joy's lap on my Blue's Clues chair.
To be truthful, all friendships have tough times. Fortunately, after a spat over toys, Joy and I always give each other a hug.
Here we are on a new favorite toy of mine - the sit & spin. (Don't look at this picture Grandma if it will upset you.)
Here's a shot for Aunt Christine. Daddy said that I looked like her today in my clothes choice.

Feet!

I know I have a lot of blog readers who, like myself, cannot read yet. So, here I am showing you what "The Foot Book" is all about. (Mom read it to me; that's how I know.)
That Dr. Seuss is a funny guy.
As a side note, I hope Opa doesn't notice that I'm already being festive in my candy cane shirt. Mommy started listening to Christmas music already, and here you see me getting into the spirit of things. Mommy says next week we get to put up the Christmas tree! Not sure what it is, but it sounds like fun.

A Fashion Tip

Here I am running through the backyard. Mommy & Daddy thought I was so cute that they had to take a few pictures. You can see here that I often like to choose my own fashions. One sock on, one off. It's a unique look. As I type, I have one black shoe and one pink shoe on. It looks chic.
Oh, what else can I say? Sometimes a girl just runs out of words. Have a great day!

ScanFest 2007

Today we went to downtown Charlotte to go to a fun Scandinavian Festival. There was a big troll at the door to welcome everyone.
When Mommy wasn't looking, Daddy gave the troll a big kiss. It seemed a little gross to me - kind of like this whole mistletoe thing I've heard about.

I told Mommy about Daddy's infidelity, but she still smiled big - for the camera, at least. But, I guess she's right. The troll is awfully ugly. She probably has nothing to worry about.
