Last night a pretty big snowstorm was supposed to come through. The next county over had schools cancelled, so it must have been worse there. Our schools are in session.
Very excited about the prospect of playing outside in the snow. Not to mention a snazzy new coat.

Kate bent over and touched the snow. She did not like it - wet & cold. We were inside again soon. Probably a max of 5 minutes outside. Maybe next year...
Aunt Rebecca bought me this beautiful dress when we went to visit her for Memorial Day. It came with a matching dress for a dolly, but I only just got a dolly that fits into it. Opa & Grandma gave me this dolly for Christmas.
Last weekend, we trucked down to Atlanta to visit with a bunch of Daddy's friends from childhood. (Known as - the barn gang)

Sophie was a little sick (ear infection), so at times Daddy would hold her. You can tell from this picture that it never affected her cheerful disposition.
The place we were was called "Monkey Joe's." Mommy says this picture should be called "Monkey Kate." I scared a few people because I kept disappearing. 
Since Sophie was a little under the weather, she didn't play the whole time. Some times she just told a few tales from her younger days.
This was a particularly funny one.
But, she did get out a few times to play. After all, in a few months, she needs some more stories to tell.
On Saturday, Opa & Grandma took us all to the zoo in Houston.
