More of the Netherlands

Another shot from the Zaanse Schans. Kate with windmills in background. Note the headless windmill next to her. Sounds like a Dutch horror movie or something.
Kate - still smiling because it was a few moments later that the goat actually bit her. But, being ever the tough girl, she was happily petting goats (other than this one, of course) a few moments after that.
A canal cruise through Giethorn - the Venice of the North. Micah was our gondolier. (Except it was a motor propelled boat. I told him I'd still appreciate some singing, but never heard anything.)
Carolyn takes to the rudder... Here we (Kate, Oom Gert, & me) take to the lake. This was shortly before it began to rain. Fortunately only a sprinkle until RIGHT before we turned the boat back in. Then - the heavens opened up.
Since Daddy liked the herring so much, I was thinking of finding him a few, but we are going too fast.

It looks like you are driving the boat fast - Kate looks pressed flat from the momentum.

And she doesn't look to pleased about coming all the way to Holland only to see topless windmills - or headless, what you said.
