This weekend was Mommy's birthday. Daddy ordered this beautiful cake from Baskin Robbins. He specially requested tulips because that's Mommy's favorite flower. 
Guess who is excited about a little ice cream cake???
It was so exciting because Opa & Grandma came for the weekend. Opa had off for Presidents Day, so it was a long weekend. 
We went out to eat at IHOP. (Aunt Christine - insert your favorite IHOP joke in here.) Kate ate about four bites of food. Sophie ate continuously from Opa & Mommy's plates. 
We sisters sure love each other (and Daddy, too). Here Sophie gives Kate a big hug. 
Here Kate returns the favor.

The cake is beautiful. Mom was NOT kidding about Sophie's hair. My goodness. She has quite the style going. 4 weeks - hip hip hoorah!

Laura Campbell and Dr. Lou came over for dinner last week. She brought me tulips and every morning I smile cause I think of YOU!
