We recently got to go on a very special trip to the Baa Moo Farm. When we first got there, we went to see a miniature donkey. Then, we went for a ride on a wagon pulled by a tractor. The animals we saw on this ride made me a little nervous. Mommy said if I grew up in Texas like she did, we'd see a whole lot more of them.

Then we went to see the little baby cows. These ones were only about a week old. We all go to take turns giving them milk since their mommies aren't around to feed them.

Sophie is pretty brave because she kept feeding her cow even though he tried to bump her a little. You might be able to catch the look of concern on her face.

Next we saw some sheep that we were also allowed to feed. Mommy said it was impossible to get a picture of us because apparently we were not supposed to throw the bread as far away from ourselves as possible (keeping us in safety), we were supposed to hand the bread directly into their (dangerous) mouths. Anyway...next came the hen house. We all picked a fresh egg to give to the lady in her basket. Next, we got to throw them corn for their food.

After that, came the barn. We all were offered a turn to milk the cow. Daddy thought since his daughters didn't take the lady up on her offer, he would jump in himself.

The end of our day...a little souvenir pumpkin. Mommy was very amused because (as with the eggs) Sophie & I thought - since pumpkins & eggs are food - we could just pop them right into our mouths.
