My mom & dad came to town this weekend to celebrate my cousin Joe's wedding (to his beautiful bride, Annie). Here we are with the mother-of-the-groom (& my mom's sister).
Kate & John missed out on that photo op, so here they are.
When the dancing got started, my two were out shaking it. Kate had been talking about dancing at the wedding the whole week leading up to the wedding.
Kate & Sophie got invited up on stage (along with cousin Kees) for the cake cutting. After they got their cake, I asked Kate if she wanted to come sit by us to eat it. "No, Mommy, I want to eat all by myself." When I turned to find Sophie, she had disappeared. Then I saw her. She had plopped down at a table with strangers to enjoy her cake.
Since Dad & Mom were here for the wedding already, we decided to have John baptized on Sunday morning so they could be here for that. Here we all are at the front of church. I had to hold Sophie because she was more interested in heading toward the pulpit.

Great to see the fam and hear about John's baptism. I'm not surprised your girls are such party people. Dancing and eating cake with new friends.
