Since Kate is a bit of a blog-hog, I took the opportunity to sit down one night when she went to bed early. Here is a recent shot of me for those who have forgotten how cute I am. Mommy says I need to learn the meaning of the word "modest." I think she's just jealous.
Today we went to South Carolina for an Earth Day Festival. Here is Kate & Daddy and Joy & Daniel walking through the creek. I guess I don't have to tell you that the mommies and the baby sisters were the smart ones who didn't walk through the water that was so cold that Daddy said it hurt his feet. I ask you!

I ask you!Mommy says I should mention (so that Grandma doesn't get upset) there was actually no mention of "Mother Earth." There weren't any hippies, even. Just a few (well, a few dozen) rednecks. One man said to Mommy, "That sure is a fat lil young'un you got there." Now...that is not polite! I do have to admit that at my 4 month check-up, I was 17 pounds! Mommy says Kate was only 19 pounds at her 1 year check-up. But, I do so prefer the term: "pleasantly plump."
